Advantages:
The advantages of doing our ICT work the way we do are because we learn how to use electrical devices and the teacher can read our work and mark it easier. Also on a Computer you can put your work into documents and folders and you can’t lose it as easy like you can on paper. There is also another advantage such as being able to comment on other people’s work half way across the world such as in a large organisation where there are branches all over the world. It is more environmental friendly because you are using less paper by doing it on a computer.

Disadvantages:
The disadvantages of doing our work the way we do in ICT are: You could make spelling mistakes and not realise. You might forget where you have saved your work and you could have lost it for good. Also other people can copy your work and might be able to delete or change it. It could be annoying if the internet is not working or your computers are not working.

Social Impacts:
You could gain more friends through it and instead of talking to them face to face you could just talk to them through the internet and it would make you less conscious of what you say to people if it is through Gmail and other examples such as: MSN and Facebook. The bad things are that people Cyber bully you, which is bullying through the internet. Also you would feel more comfortable making friends through the internet because they can’t judge you straight away and they can’t judge you on your appearance either.

Threats and risks:
The threats and risks of using ICT in a big company, you have got Viruses, Scams, People hacking into your computer and people can share company details too easily. And also if your computer breaks you won’t have a computer to use at work. You might not have no electricity in your computer or you might not have no WI-FI, So then if that happens you won’t be able to use the computer.
